By   preparing a place for the puppy, this will make it feel good in a strange new place. It will not take the puppy long to get used to  it's new home. But give the puppy a little time to adjusts.reassure it as much as you can.You should have a crate for the puppy, blanket or something soft for the puppy to sleep on in side the crate, and toys not just 1 or 2, but a good veriety                               ( dog toys ) be careful
when you make your perches, get durable toys. Something your puppy will                         not get hurt on or swallow.

You will need a collar, lead, and ID tags. You will need to get a Food                             and water bowl, and don't for get your
cleaning supplies. Becauese puppies will have, and make a mess.

Last but not least, you will need to, Puppy-Proof your home.                                                Pick up anything that your puppy
could get hurt by or chew on. This is for your puppys safety. I hope I have                              given you some helpful tips on
bringing your new puppy home, and taking care of him / her.

                  WHAT  IS  A  BREEDER?

A Breeder (with a capital B), is one who thirsts for  knowledge and
never relly knows it all, one who wrestles with decisions of
                     conscience, convenience, and commitment.

A Breeder is one who sacrifices personal interests, finances, time
and friendships. she gives up the dreams of a long, luxurious cruise
in faver of turning that all important show into this year's " vacation".

The breeder goes without sleep ( But never without coffee ) in hours
spent planning a breeding or watching anxiously over the birth
process, and afterwards, over every little sneeze, wiggle or cry.

The breeder skips dinner parties because that litter is due or the
babies have to be fed at eight. She disregards birth fluids and puts
mouth to mouth to save a gasping newborn, literally blowing life into
a tiny, helpless creature that may be the culmination of a lifetime of
                                                       dreams.

A Breeder's lap is a marvelous place where genertions of proud and
                                 noble champions once snoozed

A Breeder's hands are strong and firm and often soiled, but ever so
gentle and sensitive to the thrusts of a puppy's wet nose.

A Breeder's back and knees are usually arthritic from stooping,
bending and sitting in the whelping box, but are strong enough to
enable the breeder to show the next choice puppy to his
                                               Championship.

A Breeder's arms are always able to wield a mop, support an armful of
puppies, or lend a helping hand to a newcomer.

A Breeder's ears are wondrous things, sometimes red (from binging talke
about) or strangely shaped  (from being pressed against a phone received),
often deaf to criticism, yet aleays fine-tuned to the

                                           whimper of a sick puppy.

A Breeder's eyes are blurred from pedigree research &  sometimes blind to    her own dog's faults, but they are ever so  keen to the competition"s faults
and  are always searching for the perfect
                                                 specimen.

A Breeder's brain is foggy on faces, but it can recall pedigree faster  than an IBM computer. It's so full of knowledge that sometimes it blows
fuse:catalogues thousands of great heads, tight and  wonderfull movement...
and buries in the soil the failures and the ones
                                           that didn't turn out.

The Breeder's heart is often broken, but it beats strongly with hope
everlasting...and it's always in the right place! Oh yes, my friend,                                                 ther are breeders, and then......
                                          there are Breeders!!!!

Socialization is very important to the young puppy. So please Socialize !!!,
Socialize!!! & Socialize. Socialization is the key to helping your puppy,
develop good skills, in interacting with other animals & people. Socialization
helps to make your puppy confident and calm as it becomes an adult.

Your puppys temperament is not clear of what he or she will be like as an
adult dog. But proper training early in life, will help build up your puppys confidence, as well as it's skills.

What is a Puppy Mill ?
Above all do not purchase a puppy from a commercial breeder or from one
of their retailers. These breeders raise puppys in " mills " or farms, where the
adult are minimally maintained ( often under vile condition ) and kept in
cages thoughout their lives. The bitches are bred at every cycle. Many are
never vaccinated. The puppies never get the all-important early socialization
from the dam & litter mates-- they are taken away too young so they can be shipped cross--country and placed in a pet shop windows or commercial
kennels at their most appealing age. many of these have problems ( physical,
temperamental or both ) That will show up only later in life. Most will bear
only a passing resemblance to the best representatives of the breed. Even if
you luck out and get a puppy mill puppy that is healthy and adjusts well, you
will have contributed to the cycle of abuse that condemns their parents to a
life of Suffering.

Hi Elouise
Happy New Year! I had intended to write you sooner to thank you for our new little baby.
My daughter was totally surprised and awed on Christmas morning in receiving him! She at first thought he was a toy, however almost as if on cue. he then jumped up on the side of the box and barked at her! Everyday since she has thanked me for her new pup. I want to thank you for all that you do in breeding healthy dogs. He is a product of a good breeding program which is all about you and your choices. SO I thank you. We are thoroughly enjoying him.

Hi Elouise,
Awwww, What a really fun surprise to see TJ and PeeWee on your website. I'm one pround momma (of tow, LOL)!!!! Really fun, thanks.

I loved your entire paragraph too: what you wrote, and am so happy that youare so pleased with all the new families for your pups.

We ADORE Frank and every day I thank of you too and imagine how you must be missing the pups terribly. I know it's the way your business is done but, as I hold my sweet little warmbodied puppy in my arms (he's so light, goodneess) and love evey second of it, I imagine  how you must miss him/them too!

You will be in our hearts forever Elouise, especially since you worked so hard to nurture PeeWee to good health!!! We still can't thank you enough!!

TJ was just home this past wee for his easter/spring break and adored Frank! Now it's "back to school" but he can't wait to run into the house when he gets home, to see him.

Frank is the sweet little fellow and boy, we've had company coming and going to see him. My sister was here three times last week (rare) just to get her fill of him. In fact, tomorrow night she is bringing a friend over to see him while he's still such a small pup. Too funny! Wed. morn. a crafting friend is coming over to meet him too. It all warms my heart!

The vet told us last Tuesday (4/6) that he weighed 41/2 pounds. We actully like that he's so small and cute!

I had had him chasing after me on our back(screened-in) porch today and the other day and he loves chasing after me. He can relly strech his little legs. It's  relly been such fun! He's very responsive,  he comes when I tap the ground and say "come, come here." He's a very good pup!

He's eating wonderfully and basically sleeps through the night. Sometimes he yelps around 1:30 a.m. but basically, we here him around 6:30 0r 6:40 a.m. I'm about to head down now to offer him a pee break (but he just lays in his pan and wants to slee. I'm not sure what to do about that?)

Well I'll have to send some more pictures to you (have tons of them; ha ha!!)
You stay well. Our best to John too. I'll write again soon.
Letter From: Mrs. Donna & family
